Melrose FFA Plot Update

The Melrose High School FFA plot is still holding on very well despite the obvious lack of rain the area has been experiencing. In an attempt to avoid such severe drought-stressed conditions that are more susceptible on the sandy soils of the school's fields, we decided to place the actual plot on the north end of the field this year and it has paid off thus far. With the majority of the plot in the R2 stage, and a long ways to go before harvest we hope and pray for rain so that we can help the Melrose FFA chapter gain opportunities to learn more in agriculture and fingers crossed get some high yields.
